It goes both ways. But God pursues us first. We are believers because He chose us since the beginning of time. And because He chose us, we are called to pursue Him. We are filled with the desire to run after Him. And if we run away from Him thinking we don’t need Him or take Him seriously enough, then He will go after us and bring us back to Him.
